Life by Tony Margiocchi

This feels kind of like an out of body experience jotting notes down for others who I have never heard of to read about what is going on in my world and further afield.
I was a full time press snapper at one time and I still feel the need to take photos of people and places and have them published.  I have lived in Bedfordshire for a long time, there are many there who will say 'far too long' and a few who like my work. Just a few!
This blog is just me looking at life as I see it, I should have called it 'Shit Happens' as opposed to 'To The Point' but felt that swearing in the title may put a few folk off.  Not many though as I doubt there will be many who will visit me here.
I am blogging because I exist.  I have feelings, thoughts and fears and feel that this could be my personal 'Speakers Corner'.  There are so many people who feel that they can hide from the world by not putting their face or name on the net, to them I say, get real, the state has the ability to follow your every move should it wish to, so come out of your closets and stand up for yourselves, you exist, be proud of that.  Speak your mind, and make your case for whatever it is you believe in.  This blog is about my tiny world, follow it if you like, let me know what you think, but don't be rude, and don't be stuffy.

Over the last year we have seen the state's rulers outed for what they really are via the Daily Telegraph, well done the DT for finally proving to us what a greedy bunch our politicians are.  We all knew that there were plenty of them 'on the make' and now we have the proof.

We have also recently seen the all powerful USA humbled by Wikileaks, and some so called celebrities outed for extra marital affairs or for being whipped whilst their prostitutes wore Concentration Camp uniforms, (that one had a father who also believed in Hitler and the Third Reich.)

We learned all of this because we have the freedom to publish, and freedom of speech.  England is about freedom of speech, but if you want to abuse the system and use our hard won freedoms to condone murderous acts and barbaric actions, leave.  You are not welcome in 'my' England.

Be true to yourself and those around you,

Tony
